MICKLETON is a small village not far from Chipping Campden and the great gardens of Kiftsgate Court and Hidcote Manor. The hotel itself has put Mickleton on the map as home of The Pudding Club, an ‘open to all’ weekly celebration of the great British pudding.

Mickleton tips from the hotel

You can enhance your stay by choosing one of seven pudding themed rooms including, naturally, a Chocolate Suite.

The village is at the Northern edge of the Cotswolds and handy for an evening at the RSC in Stratford-upon-Avon. There are usually returns for even the most ‘sold out’ shows – the RSC has a very civilised returns system.

Nearby Meon Hill is said to have provided inspiration for Tolkien’s ‘Weathertop’ fromThe Lord of the Rings – in general the village is a great base for walking and cycling.

Our weekly Pudding Club meetings are very popular, thanks to a strong local following –early booking is recommended.
