Whatley Manor occupies a mellowed-stone 17th farmhouse complete in its own 12 acres. Executive Chef Niall Keating was awarded a Michelin star in 2017 and oversees The Dining Room (Modern British with Asian influences), Grey’s Brasserie and the Kitchen Garden Terrace for al fresco breakfasts, lunches and dinners.

The hotel’s Aquarias Spa signature Diamond Ritual is an anti-aging and stimulating lavender back massage and energy facial to energise the skin and restore skin tone and elasticity.

Beyond the hotel gates the delights of Malmesbury, Tetbury and the slightly more authentic nature of this part of the central Cotswolds await.

Whatley Manor welcomes children from the age of 12 years.

Whatley Manor tips from the hotel

Allow time to explore the gardens at the hotel - unusually Whatley Manor has more gardens (26) than guest bedrooms (23).

HRH Prince Charles's garden at nearby Highgrove House offers occasional tours.

Grey’s Brasserie has a sophisticated city brasserie vibe, stylish surroundings and easy ambience. Contemporary menus that offer simple dishes expertly delivered.

Favourite shops in Tetbury include Domestic Science (vintage and contemporary) and Top Banana (old school antiques).
